The St. Patrick’s Day PE Stations are 20 fun filled, “LUCK OF THE IRISH” cards that you can use in your school gymnasium or can be modified and performed in a smaller space such as a classroom or empty cafeteria. This product is an original creation by Dave Senecal-:PE Palooza In an effort to enhance this valuable product and give it some exposure, Cap’n Pete’ PE has collaborated with Dave to implement several graphical and structural design enhancements to the overall product.
Students use the beat sheets to clap, stomp, jump, snap, scuff and slap as they read the sheets like a dance recipe. While using the sheets, students progress from working in partners, to working in small groups to dancing in large groups in a “Battle Royale”. The culminating event happens when the students have learned the beat sheets and are ready to dance using the sheets to music.
PE teachers can use Beat Sheet package as a standalone lesson activity in a Dance unit. Classroom teachers can use the Beat Sheets as a brain break, classroom energizer, recess activity or reward event.
